Why is the website build free?
We use a focused, repeatable process for brochure-style websites and build a limited number at a time. That lets us remove the upfront design and development fee while Website Care covers the ongoing technical service.
What do I actually pay?
The website build costs £0. Website Care costs £360/year and is billed annually. This is equivalent to £30/month. Website Care covers managed hosting, SSL, backups, maintenance, technical management, basic support and reasonable minor content updates.
Do I pay monthly?
No. The £30/month figure is only the monthly equivalent. Website Care is billed annually at £360; each payment covers 12 months.
Why do you charge annually?
Annual billing keeps the service simple and helps us provide the website build without an upfront design or development fee.
How long does Website Care last?
Each £360 payment covers 12 months of Website Care.
What kind of website is included?
A professionally designed brochure-style business website of up to four standard content pages, built to explain what you do and help customers contact you.
Can I add bookings or sell products?
Those features are outside the free package, but we can quote separately for booking integrations, ecommerce, payments and other custom functionality.
Can I edit the website myself?
The standard service is fully managed, so there is no website builder to learn. Send us reasonable minor changes such as opening hours, service text or contact details. A customer-editable CMS can be quoted separately.
What happens after the first 12 months?
Renewal and continuation terms have not yet been published. The applicable arrangements will be confirmed in your service agreement before work begins.
Can I use my existing domain or replace an old website?
Usually, yes. Tell us what you already have in your application and we will confirm the practical details before accepting the project.
How long will it take?
Timing depends on the queue, the project and how quickly content is supplied. We will discuss timing with accepted applicants; joining the queue does not guarantee a completion date.
Does applying guarantee a place?
No. We review every application for suitability and capacity. If the requirements fall outside the free package, we may suggest a separately quoted project instead.
